To the family of Otar Ramishvili

I am very saddened by the death of a Georgian singer, composer, and poet – Mr. Otar Ramishvili. 

He was a real Tbilisian, a true Georgian and a distinguished part of the city. His city songs and the extraordinary manner of his performance will always stay in the memories of his audiences.

Mr. Otar loved his city and Tbilisi loved him back in the same way. Because of this special relationship and respect, he was granted the title of an Honorable Tbilisian during the “Tbilisoba” holiday in 2009.

 I extend my condolences to the family and relatives of Mr. Otar and I share the grief and pain caused by his passing.
