The President of Georgia answered questions of the broadcasting company “Rain”

At the museum exhibition center a journalist of the broadcasting company “Rain” asked the President of Georgia a question regarding the unilateral abolishment of the visa regime with Russia. According to Mikheil Saakashvili, Georgia is ready to host any Russian investor and tourist, but not the Russian tanks. The Head of State noted that this is a right decision.

“Do you see that whatever we say we do very soon? We said that we would abolish a visa regime and we did it because we have a free country. The more citizens of Russia that visit our unoccupied territory the better it is. This way they will get more information about us and they will enjoy more of the Georgian nature, hospitality, our festive traditions, Georgian wine, and mineral waters. I cannot put Georgia on my shoulders and move it somewhere near Mexico. We are neighbors of Russia and Russians are our neighbors. However, it is so with respect to our historic territory and not with respect to the disposition of Kremlin” – stated Mikheil Saakashvili.
